We love our vinyl; and I have over a hundred cassette tapes of my old radio shows, too - I really should play them more! What I really miss is music STORES - what a fun hour just browsing and talking to people and having to decide what to buy in just my allowance.
Oh, man. I totally miss music stores! My favorite was Luke's Record Exchange in Pawtucket, RI. That might have to be a future post. Thanks for the inspiration #AlwaysInspiring
I used to own InfoTech, a market research company for compact disc sales. Now I have a real estate venture Maine Green Brokers. When brokers make sales they get a thoughtful closing gift for their client and another for themselves. Some buy a new outfit, a vacation if it was an especially lucrative sale, or some other toy. I have a list of CD’s I want to collect and I go to my local used CD store. I completed my jazz collection and now I’m on to a classical collection. I have cassettes from when we made mix tapes and also when my daughter was small for her mobile boom box of kid music. I have a wall of CDs about 80 ft2. I used to review dvd’s so I have a lot of them, too. I used to have over a thousand CD-ROMs that publishers would send me but the software no longer ran on upgraded PCs and game machines. Now PCs don’t come with Optical disc drives nor do cars. But I don’t accept MP3 sound quality compared to Cd-Audio so I keep collecting CDs. I may or may not have some reel to reels of my college voice recitals. Thanks for the memory!

Thanks for sharing, Julia. I have boxes of CDs too! I'm a back fan of physical media these days. Hope all is well in Maine :)
